Welcome to The Amazing Race blog here at ContentQuake.  My name is Beth and I’ll be your host as we follow the Emmy-winning reality show as teams race around the world.  I absolutely love TAR and do not miss an episode.  In my opinion, it’s the greatest reality show on television.

Currently I’m a full-time freelance writer but I recently left a career in television (strictly behind-the-scenes) after 24 years.  I spent the last 7 years at a CBS station.  As you know, CBS broadcasts TAR.  A few years ago, I got to meet Phil Keoghan when he came through town on his book tour.  What a great guy!

I hope that you’ll stay with me as I follow each leg of the race and share my thoughts on what’s happened so far, and what’s coming up.  I also hope to include some insight on the teams, and maybe even a little bit of history about the locales.
